WELCOME

This blog follows both my personal and professional life, featuring my children, photography jobs, and of course, my love for animals. It's basically my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my clients. This site is very informal and allows me to share a little bit of my personality with you. :)

Grandma Honey

Meet my Grandma Carol, aka, Grandma Honey. Isn't she beautiful? For those of you who know me personally, you know my grandma is one of the nearest and dearest people closest to my heart. She is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. I feel so blessed that even into my thirties I still have my grandma in my life. I''m so happy that we can celebrate her and her beauty. I love you Grandma!

P.S. The last two pictures are her with Hailey. I will cherish them forever. You will notice that as Hailey placed her hand on Grandma's cheek, Grandma started to cry....Priceless.

Bonnie

Meet Bonnie, this is my mother-in-law and seriously one of the biggest blessings in my life. I feel so blessed to have a mother-in-law that I love and adore and get along with 100%. I know that many, many people aren't lucky enough to have a mother-in-law that they get along with let alone like. Isn't she beautiful?! I love you Mom.

These were taken in my home studio. If you would like to book a session like this, please contact me.

Sharon

Meet my beautiful friend Sharon. I am so blessed to have her in my life and my family's life. About a year and a half ago, my grandma fell - BIG TIME. After she fell, we needed someone to take care of my great grandma (who will be 98 in May) because my grandma was unable to do everything she needed. My cousin Kelly called Comfort Keepers and Sharon was one of the people who took care of my grandmother. She has been helping out ever since. Although my grandma is able to take care of my great grandma now, Sharon comes up almost weekly to care for my great-grandma so that my grandma and I can go out for a day together. I have been blessed with the opportunity of getting to know her as not only my grandma's friend but my own friend. Sharon, I love you with every piece of my heart. Thank you for making such a difference in my grandma's life and for always finding a way to reach out to me and brighten my days. I hope these pictures tell a story of not only how beautiful you are on the outside but of how much more beautiful you are on the inside. I love you.

Also, if you are interested in having photos like these done, we took these in my home studio :)

Kip and Jorji's Wedding at Southworth Hall in Provo - Utah Wedding Photographer

Kip and Jorji were married on a winter day in Provo, Utah at Southworth Hall. This was the first time I had ever shot a wedding there and loved the unique urban atmosphere. Kip was in the middle of boot camp for the United States Army and Jorji, patiently waiting for him to return home. The chemistry between these two was beautiful. I noticed the entire night, it was as if they were the only ones in the room. I wish you both success in your beautiful marriage as you travel the world together sacrificing so much for our freedom. Thank you, both of you for the sacrifices you make and will continue to make. Thanks for allowing me into such a special part of your journey together. Much love, Melissa.
